It may have shook
the globe like a coup
straining borders, voiding spaces
steering jitters & stifling voices

But hold on!
It’s only a storm
be calm, indoors
do plant your feets
& man your beats

Gloom may hover abound
& your chances may get slim
but your faith shouldn’t flare around
just keep fighting with the briefs

Remember!
This isn’t the time to shudder
let’s lend others our shoulders
& keep lifting our heads,
with time we’ll be spared

And as we soldier on
through this jolting storm
let the lessons be tabbed
& in the end, be applied
