Rainbow World

We were busy with this fast-paced world

We neither had the time nor the desire to ponder

Out of blue came a deadly threatening enemy

It made us stop and forced to hide in our homes

We were running around in circles

We were on a journey to nowhere

We were taking for granted the miracle of life

We were being selfish, un-grateful & greedy

Now that the whole world has come to a standstill

We have started to understand the value of being

All that money & gold do not worth a dime

Health, love & compassion are the true treasures of life

Silence has replaced the hustle-bustle completely

Allah has shattered our facades and trickery

Now it is time to introspect and repent

Allah has always been waiting for us to return

We need to look beyond the sight and the visible

We need to comprehend the reason for this predicament

We have been called the “Crown of Creation”

So we must live up to our title and redeem ourselves

Let’s reinvigorate our barren heart and soul

Let’s find our lost humanity and hold on

Let’s abandon I and merge into a whole

Let it be the beginning of our “Rainbow World”

There is peace and laughter in this world

Everyone takes care of each other

Though the evil & sins still exist

But they are being suppressed by the persistent will

Distractions and attractions continue to urge

But self has a strong foundation to ward off wickedness

Perfection and Idealism can never be achieved

But humans have the ability to constantly flourish
