\nisn\u2019t it time
\nthat we dropped our subtle acts
\nand speak to each other plainly?<\/p>\n
The words of a poet
\nThe song of the singer
\nThe shapes of the artist often
\nSpeak like echoes
\nto an empty cave.
\nNobody
\n understands.<\/p>\n
The symbols are often
\n20,000 piece puzzles that
\nare two pieces shy.
\nThe riddles are often
\nwrapped around ego
\ninstead of wrapped around
\nexperience and emotion.<\/p>\n
Artists lament of misinterpretation
\nWhile the masses lament the inability
\nto grasp meaning at all.<\/p>\n
Isn\u2019t it time we drop the act
\nand recognize that
\nmeaning is nothing outside
\nthe perspective of each individual.<\/p>\n
\nThe Difference of a Day<\/i><\/p>\n
Yesterday. 9:30 A.M.<\/p>\n
Breakfast routine. Like an old dog chasing new cars, I\u2019m in an endless battle for my security.<\/p>\n
12:30 P.M.<\/p>\n
Lunch routine. Like a baker picking apples I\u2019m in search of the magic ingredients that will replace my backbone.<\/p>\n
3:30 P.M.<\/p>\n
Internet Scrabble. As if words weren\u2019t vague enough, I\u2019m forced into a time delayed, de-contextualized game of wits, like Malcolm X forced into a safety net of buzzing, white bees equipped with the power of mass reasoning for stingers.<\/p>\n
7:00 P.M.<\/p>\n
Dinner routine. Nothing like stale toast and butter to liven up an already stale existence. I\u2019ll take my monotony on rye, please.<\/p>\n
10:00 P.M.<\/p>\n
Sparks! My soul erupts from the energy of a distant love and knowledge gained from an epiphany\u2026.the melodic dance that snowmen make on springtime lakes is the proof that no two people reach their hands out for the same reason, and no two people can partition out life in equal portions.<\/p>\n
I emit blue stars
\nI spout out June teeth
\nI radiate magnetic cyclones that target your strength with the accuracy of a hornet.<\/p>\n
I now know that these were the missing riddles
