Teatro dell’Argine is a theatre company of 3 directors, 3 playwrights and about 20 actors and theatre teachers.
Our 220 seats Theatre, ITC Teatro, is located just outside Bologna. There we carry out our own productions, house performances of other companies, and offer dozens of workshops for children and teenagers.

Iran Darroudi

Renowned surrealist painter, Iran Darroudi was born in Mashhad on Sept. 2, 1936 to an aristocrat family. Her family lived in Hamburg, Germany, but the outbreak of the World War II forced them to return home.

Ardeshir Mohases - Iranian Caricature Artist

Ardeshir Mohases is one of Iran's most prolific modern artists and caricaturists. He started drawing when only a child; drawing the characters of his mother's bedtime stories. After recieving his degress in Law and Political Science from the University of Tehran, he continuted his interest in art and would later contribute to such publications as The New York Times, Harpers, Playboy, Jeune Afrique, Nation, Keyhan, Ettelaat, Ayandegan, Ferdousi.

Paintings done by Iranian artist Ario Mashayekhi who now resides in Chicago, Illinois. Ario came to United States on December 23, 1978 and has since stayed. Ario studied fine arts, and he works professionally as a painter, sculptor, and actor. Visually, Ario represents the human condition through pain, sorrow, the struggle to survive, and the will to go beyond to promote the beauty of life.
