HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND GENDER JUSTICE: social justice month presentation

Saturday November 9. Doors 6:30 pm. Show 7 pm. FREE, with an opportunity to donate toward charitable causes.

The Emerald Tablet is very pleased to host acclaimed director Jeffrey D. Brown and other special guests in a discussion of human trafficking and related issues on the occasion of Social Justice Month.

Please join us on Sunday, November 9th at 7 pm for a free evening of music, ideas, and poetry. Jeffrey D. Brown is a film/television director, film producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for the directing, producing and writing the short film Molly’s Pilgrim, for which he won an Academy Award in 1986 for Academy Award for Live Action Short Film.

Joining Brown are hosts Mahnaz Badihian and Agneta Falk, as well as many other esteemed guests. The event will include a special screening, a cartoon sequence on human trafficking from the film SOLD. This event is FREE, but there will be an opportunity to donate to efforts addressing issues of human trafficking and gender justice, led by director Jeffrey D. Brown.
